5:45 AM… Last Salt Stoke!

Well tomorrow I unload the kiln, and I can not wait to see the results. Here is a video of the last salt stoke at Cone 11 just as the sun was starting to come up…

Guess what is next?!! NO PEAKING! (unload wed.)

I have spent the last week glazing, prepping and loading for my firing of The SAW Salt Box (cat. arch salt kiln). Right now it is 5:30 in the AM, cone 10 is flat on top and middle, and very soft on the bottom. I am going to push it until cone 11 touches. One more salt and I am out. If you don’t know what any of that means basically its extremely hot (2300 degrees F). I will be unloading it on late Wednesday night, or early Thursday morning. Stay posted for the results, or Stop by and check them out…

HELP?

Ok So I am trying to get this thing moving along, and I am having trouble getting pictures to not be on their side. Anyone out there know how I can rotate them? I have rotated them on my computer… Any thoughts or suggestions?
