Photos of Interest…

Here are a few photos I have taken along my travels. I am working on how to upload photos in a post. Who knows?

This jar I threw today. There will be more soon…

The ax fence is in California at Midland School. I love the way things get fixed by necessity. An old broken ax handle does not get thrown away, it becomes part of a fence that needs tightening.

The red striped mugs I have been working on since I got back from a trip to Jamaica with Anderson Ranch…

Traveling across the desert in Arizona I came across beautiful cracks in a dry river bed…

Two trains diverged on a yellow hill side…

I can never pass up this hydrant form. What a beautiful container for water. Great pitcher, teapot, ewer…

Photo uploading… I think I got it!

Let us begin…

Well it has taken me some time to get this baby rolling, but I have finally found the lock and chain, and it does not seem as daunting as I thought. With a little help from my good man Steven Colby I am underway, and here is my first blog entry about my life as a potter. My goal is to put out into the world thoughts and ideas about what it is that I am trying to do with my ceramics. Hopefully I will feed the blog, and the blog will feed the work, and I will feed the work, and the work always feeds me. (In more ways than one) Soooo here we go. Life love and all things interesting. Thanks for stopping by to check it all out, and feel free to comment, send me an e-mail, or just let me know what you think.

Be Well
